Vacuum and pressure relief valves are used to protect side channel blowers by limiting the maximum pressure or vacuum side channel blowers are exposed to.
When the set pressure or vacuum is reached, the valve opens to connect the internal part of blower to atmosphere and protect the blower from exceeding the design limit.
